The Ransom Project is a pop/rock worship band from the heartland of America. Located in Iowa, they have been on the scene since 2002, leading worship for youth camps, churches, conferences and young adult gatherings in the Midwest. "We just want to see Jesus Christ glorified" says lead singer Rodney Gehman. "We don''t care if people don''t know who we are, we don''t care if we don''t get to play 200 shows a year.... we just want to lead people to Jesus." The Ransom Project covers modern worship music when asked to lead worship, with an emphasis on audience participation, and recently finished recording their first studio CD "How Would I Live (EP)" of all original rock/pop songs.
