Details:
It all started on a park bench in the summer of 2007 when Kitti Moon asked Paul Alexander, "what do you think about playing music together?" Paul replied "Ever think about playing drums?"...from there it all began.

Actually, the story goes back a few years before that. The two were friends from high school. He introduced her to The Beatles and she introduced him to The Rolling Stones. They would listen to music together and talk about their favorite bands. Sometimes Paul would play guitar for her and she would sing, though they both were kind of shy about it. They lost touch with each other for many years. In that time Paul explored his growing love for the blues. A deep love that had it''s seed planted when Kitti played him "You Gotta Move" by The Rolling Stones. Already a blues fan, she would go on about how great and authentic sounding the song was. Paul really liked what he heard but was blown away when he heard the original version, sung by Mississippi Fred McDowell. It was then that he really started to understand and appreciate the blues.

In their time apart that Kitti had been indulging in a long overdue love affair with The Beatles, while Paul had delved into the Blues. They went many years without crossing paths, until one day they bumped into each other at a bookstore. Which brings us back to the bench.

A week later they''re in Paul''s apartment working on their first song, "Cat-a-piller". They practiced with an acoustic guitar and a cheap drum set, that was around the size of a child''s set. They''re musical connection was instantaneous. They tried looking for a bass player, but after six months the realized they were wasting their time. They didn''t need one. They developed such chemistry that it wasn''t necessary to bring anyone else into the equation.

The two continued working on songs and in the spring of 2008, after fixing a broken reel to reel machine many times, finally buying a new drum set, finding a super twin reverb fender amp in the garbage, and sitting in a hot and stuffy room, they recorded their first album "The Nitty Gritty".
