Details:
Selected to play at NX35 in Denton, TX, 2009. I play guitar, keyboards, bass on keyboard, harmonica, drum set and other percussion instruments and sing lead and back up on this album, which I produced in my small blue 1945 rent house in Sanger, TX with my ancient eMac.

The song, "Addicted," was first created in 2006 after reflection on how something is always causing a craving.

"You Don''t Know Me," something we should all be able to relate to, who knows anyone? Intimate relationships are generally a struggle for most of us, huh?

"Wild and Crazy Girl Friend," what other kind is there? Sweet and innocent? Kind and caring, possibly, but not for me currently. But it is always fun anyway.

"Color of Your Hair," I am very open minded sometimes, but maybe just in fantasy.

"And I Fell In," a wrong relationship from the beginning, as many are. But once you are involved it is hard to break away sometimes. I knew her parents and family and had to hang around with them every Sunday, and actually her Dad tried to kill me with snakes and a chain saw, but now he is a dead MIT engineer.

"Man Singing on the Radio," I wrote this song after being stranded in a friend''s bedroom while he had to have a long conversation in the kitchen with his dad. We were trying to be co-writers, as he, Ben Rodgers, had just finished a Masters in Classical Guitar. I was working on my Masters in English. He put on a Cars album for me to listen to and I wrote these lyrics. He helped with the riff idea. This recording is me trying to play everything in my studio in Haslet, TX several years ago.

"Money Will Come," I have had some nice comments from other musicians on myspace for this song, some people at my performances have said it is a little dark. It was probably dark when I wrote it. Inspired from late night shows with promo info about so many ways to make lots of money like real estate with no money down.

"Got that Down Feeling," well the down feeling just keeps coming. Hey, all you lunatic friends, you know what I''m talking about. So here is a song for that.

"Found that You Got To," themes of isolation come through I suppose, or maybe there is a different way to see the message of this song. I use a ceramic drum loop for this guitar part I made up. Recorded about three years ago.

"Dreams and Ashes," written several years ago, recorded with piano loops and a track with my Pearl drum set.

"We Need Love," I enjoy playing piano sometimes, and this is a newer song put together a few months ago, like a second take of this song, with a live drum track. But I hope you enjoy the creativity with the keyboard sounds from the $100 M-Audio.

"Where Are You," I used to call this "Late At Night," but noticed later that I really don''t say "Late at night," in the song, weird. I spent a little time with some tracks on this song and use M-Audio 49-e keyboard for the bass part.

"All the Things My Momma Wouldn''t Let Me Do," When I play this at cafes sometimes the waitresses bump butts. I appreciate that a lot. John Fogerty influences, as he has always been one of my favorite musicians.
