The Hoolios are fast becoming favorites on the New England music scene for their thought-provoking acoustic sets and hypnotic dance grooves. The diverse group can morph from a two piece duo on up to a full-tilt, six piece rock group; their originals spanning the rhythms of country-rock, Caribbean, afro-cuban and zydeco. Two debut cds: Rosalie and Silver Triangle were released in January 2009.
The Hoolios are: Jim Carpenter - vocals, guitars; Michael Derry -vocals, accordion, keyboards; Sandy Allen - vocals, mandolin; Bill Light - vocals, slide guitar; Mike Palazzolo - vocals, bass; Ronnie Lewis - vocals, drums.
