Biography
On the outskirts of Johannesburg, South Africa is where this vibrant, vivacious, vocally talented, bundle of energy was born. Her first public, vocal performance took everyone by surprise. Nurses were astounded at how loud this baby could scream. Yes, she gave quite a performance on the delivery table that day, and she gave a new meaning to the well-known phrase, "Dynamite comes in small packages".
In 1999, Cassandra and her family moved to the United States. Of course, her passion for singing tagged along. At first though, she didn''t mind what she sang - all that consumed her was the fact that she wanted to be a singer.
However, in the early months of 2000 and continuing well into the next year, an unexpected, life-threatening disease forever changed her vision.
Severe Aplastic Anemia and bone marrow failure threatened her existence and eventually resulted in her being admitted into hospital ready to start chemotherapy, in preparation for a bone marrow transplant
Eventually to the amazement of the doctors, her blood counts slowly started returning to normal and she was freed from this affliction.
Cassandra believes in the power of prayer. Friends and family both in the USA and South Africa had been praying for her. Months of prayer and mountains of faith were duly rewarded.
Cassandra voice is truly a gift from God and this CD is
one of many to come.
