''Deja Boston Pop ''n Blues'' is the final blend of ''smokin'' Chicage Blues, and melodic pop rock, with a bit of ''jangle rock'' thrown in.
''Sweet Jerry D.''s'' love for guitar music started at a very young age. At age 11, he started studying guitar at the old Boston School of Music, in Cambridge Ma. Twice a week, he would lug that old Vega solid body (his first axe) on the bus across town. A few years later, and through high school, his band ''Jerry and the Gents'' entertained locally. A stint in the blues circuit followed with the ''Blueshackers'' then the Pop trio, ''Radio Days''.
Jerry''s creative lyric and music writing peaked with the formation of ''The Eighth Crossing'' a quartet that specialized in ORIGINAL material consisting of ''knock out'' harmonies, and modern chord changes.
Known for their very lyrical sound, a CD followed in 1996. Radio interviews, and local exposure on Boston''s south shore.
In 1999 a splinter group formed and called themselves, ''Deja^Vu, Boston Blues''. And now the ultimate blend of time and experience, ''Deja Boston, Pop ''n Blues'' "Listen to the words...."
