The worship ministry of Daniel and Kimberly Douma
Daniel & Kimberly each grew up in a Pastor''s home (Kimberly in Texas and Daniel in Missouri). Their families were filled with the Spirit during the Charismatic Renewal of the 70''s. They attended Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, TX where they met. They traveled together in the group: Living Praise. Daniel played the trumpet and Kimberly sang and played the flute. They fell in love during a ministry trip to the Orient and were married in June of 1984.
Since that time the Doumas have ministered in full-time music ministry the majority of their 21 years of marriage. Currently Daniel works with the ministry of Every Home For Christ. Kimberly takes care of the home and children. They also lead worship at Calvary Temple in Denver on Sundays. They reside in Colorado Springs with their 3 beautiful children: Miriam age 10, Timothy age 8 and Maleah age 2.
Be Exalted O God was recorded live on June 18, 2004 at Every Home for Christ in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There was a strong sense of the presence of God as we entered into praise and worship together. This same anointing can be sensed as you enter in while listening to the CD. All the songs contained on this recording were written by Daniel & Kimberly. Many of them written during a severe "desert season" in their lives. The recording can best be summed up in the lyrics to the title song:
