The music on Happy Nappy Tales was composed by Mr. Quincy (Que) Mattison.
Quincy, "Que" as he is called by those who know him, is an accomplished musician of some reknown. His first road tour was with the Charlie Earland Trio. From there Quincy went on to play for the Otis Redding Road Band.
After the Otis Redding experience he went on to work for Curtis Mayfield and his band became the backup band for the Impressions.
When that experience ended the group broke up and renamed themselves The Winstons and it was during that time that Quincy Mattison wrote the gold record, "Color Him Father".
Music has remained a part of him life and continues to be a driving force in his being. It is an honor to work with a person like Quincy.
