Zephyr is Beverly''s first CD, comprised of original compositions and traditional Celtic tunes. Her compositions have been inspired by many ethnic musical styles, both modern and traditional, and incorporate the rhythms and sounds of primitive instruments and modern studio technology. Zephyr fuses the sounds of classical, Celtic, jazz, new age and traditional American music styles.

Beverly Heising

Composer, fiddler and teacher Beverly Heising has been performing in the San Diego area for over 8 years. She has performed with and been a member of several bands including Zephyr, Cobblestone Ceili Band, The Irish Catholic School Girls, and The Celtic Tigers (Maui, Hawaii). The Celtic Tigers recently performed for the opening of the Maui Film Festival as wells as a joint concert with the Scottish band Old Blind Dogs. Beverly has performed several times with famed Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser and the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers,and the Los Angeles Scottish Fiddlers.

Brian Baynes

Brian Baynes is a native of Dublin, Ireland. Brian alternates between the recording studio and the concert stage. The Brian Baynes Band most recently performed with the San Diego Symphony as a part of their Winter Pops Series. He has also played live performances with the Grossmont Symphony and with legendary Scottish Fiddler Alasdair Fraser. In the studio, Brian has a well established reputation as a producer with many albums to his credit; he has produced his own album "Celtic Guitar" which features Celtic fiddler Martin Hayes, Brian has performed on many other albums where he has contributed as a musician, producer and arranger.

Annie Dru
Annie Dru began her professional music career at the ripe old age of 37 when she formed the band Kitchenfire with Kevin Allshouse and Steve Peavey. After several years and one CD with the Irish trio, as well as a brief stint in The Irish Catholic School Girls, she began writing original country folk songs. In 2003 she released her debut album "Undone Day"; her next album "Silver Thread" is currently in the works. `

Steve Peavey

Multi-instrumentalist Steve Peavey has played and toured with various bands in Maine and San Diego including
The 7 Day Buskers, The Cat Mary, The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, Irish Catholic School Girls, and Kitchenfire
just to name a few. He plays a broad range of styles from bluegrass to jazz. Steve is currently in the process of recording his original compositions for guitar and has recorded as well as produced on several albums both locally and internationally.

Kevin Allshouse

Kevin Allhouse is the fiddler extraordinaire from the Irish trio Kitchenfire. He was a member of both The Down
Stream Quartet and The Old Twine String Band. Kevin can be seen in many venues in and around town where he often
performs with Kitchenfire and various local bands.

David Page

David Page is a native of Dublin, Ireland and the son of four time Irish Uilleann Piper Champion Dave Page Sr.. He has performed with Tom Jones appearing on the Ed Sullivan Show, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Bill Cosby, Lou Rawls and Engelbert Humperdinck, and with the hit show Riverdance. David conceived, produced and directed the highly successful Dati show at Spreckels Theatre. He plays regularly with the great jazz guitarist Art Johnson, and performed this year at the Nice Jazz Festival. He recently performed with the Brian Baynes Band in the San Diego Symphony''s Winter Pops Series. David designed the famous "Page Drums" a unique total resonant drum. He currently opened Page Drums Music Store in the North Park area of San Diego, California.

Nollaig Brolly

Nollaig Brolly comes from Dungiven, in the Northwestern part of Ireland where she grew up under the influence of her famous singing duo parents Anne and Francie Brolly. She toured Ireland and the United States with her parents, performing on stages at age 11. Classically trained, Nollaig played lead flute in the Irish Youth Orchestra and achieved distinction in the 8th grade winning the Ulster College of Music Wind award in 1996. She studied piano for 12 years and then taught herself to play harp. Nollaig was a featured soloist in the San Diego Symphony''s Winter Pop Concert Celtic Celebrations. She recently released a new CD "Under a Pale Moon".

Gerard Nolan

Irish tenor saxophonist Gerard Nolan was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and began his professional career at age 15. He attended the jazz program at the New School in New York City, where he further developed his skills under the direction of such luminaries as Dave Liebman, George Garzone, Garry Dial and Bobby Sanabria. In 1997 Gerard made a move to Los Angeles and concentrated on performance, where his talent as an improviser came to the forefront. He played at several clubs in and around the Hollywood area. In addition to performing in the U.S., Gerard has performed at concert venues and jazz festivals in France, England and Ireland. Now residing in San Diego, he is making an impact on the San Diego scene. In addition to performing, writing and arranging, Gerard released his first CD in June 2003.

David Lindquist

Starting with a piano background, David Lindquist switched to accordion at age 14. Marci Phelan of Cobblestone Ceili Band, mentored him until he played his first Feis (Irish dance competition) at age 15. Since then, David has continued to play for Irish Dancers from coast to coast. David can also be seen as a guest artist with local bands and at various venues around San Diego and the Southern California area. He released his first dance CD titled
"Step this Way" in June of 2004.
