Lee Brandon began singing at the age of 20, having been influenced initially by filmed musicals as they appeared on the television screen in his earlier years. Growing up in Los Angeles made him especially aware of entertainment as a business, as well as a source of enjoyment, and induced him to pursue it as a career. Signed by a record company to record one of his own compositions "A Perfect Kind Of Love," with moderate success, gave him impetus to continue. Although inspired on his own, an early association with a talented musician/composer/performer, some of whose songs he would later record, helped him to learn more about music and permitted him to further understand his role as entertainer. Engagements in various clubs and several roles in musical theatre, including two outstanding productions of "The Fantastik''s" in one of the lead roles, brought new challenge to Lee''s talent and growing enthusiasm for music. For Lee, opportunities to refine his work led him to develop an appealing style and a warm relationship with his audiences. Combined with that, a deep feeling about his musical selections bring substance and lyrical nuance to his presentation. The result is a Club-Cabaret style in the tradition of the best of American popular music.
