Jeanne Jennay''s Bio
Jeanne Jennay is a radio talk show host and producer in San Diego, California with her own radio shows since 1997 called Health Is Your Wealth and Stand In The Light. Jeanne interviews many national known authors and alternative, spiritual healers. She is also a motivational speaker and the author of Dare To Be Young channeled by God and her own personal story, In One Split Second My Whole World Changed.
At the age of 10, Jeanne was training to be a concert pianist and at 18 she started singing and acting professionally. She became a disc jockey with her own radio show in Champagne, Illinois and at WJJB in Chicago Illinois. Later, Jeanne toured as a singer and stand up drummer performing in nightclubs in the Mid-West and in various blues clubs in Chicago.
Jeanne produced, directed and wrote musical comedy shows for the Special Services at Amarillo Air Force Base in which were performed monthly by American military prisoners. She was also an actress in many plays at the Amarillo Little Theatre and was the agent hired to cast several character roles in the movie Hud, while working closely with the famous but now deceased director, Martin Ritt. Jeanne acted in many radio and television commercials and made several television appearances on TV talk shows in the Amarillo, Texas area. She sang with the Carlton Scales Orchestra and also with her own jazz combo singing and playing vibes.
Jeanne was the talent agent for music groups, singers and specialty acts throughout Northern Texas and discovered a minstrel group consisting of 32 young singers and musicians. She promoted them in Hollywood, California in which led them to become the Dan Blocker Singers performing regularly every week seen on ABC Network''s, The Milton Berle Show.
Upon relocating to San Diego, California in the late 60''s, she started her own theatrical talent agency called Jeanne Jennay Talent & Associates representing musicians, performers, specialty acts, and models. Her agency became one of the most successful talent agencies in Southern California for over 30 years. She co-founded and was a partner in the successful production company, Tom Jepperson Productions as a producer, director and agent, tailor making theme parties, events and conventions for countless national corporations. She was also the promoter for all of the talent she represented.
During this time, Jeanne became a student in the higher consciousness movement which turned her life around positively and eventually led to her closing her talent agency. She then started a new career as a motivational speaker, author and radio talk show host. This is when Jeanne started receiving messages from God while praying for answers on how to make a positive difference in the world.
