Hello and welcome to my solo CD "Destiny". Some of the songs on "Destiny" might remind you of Space Band. Actually, "Too Much Stress", "Passport To The Stars" and "Got No Steady Hands" were performed live by Space Band, but never recorded. The other songs just didn''t fit into the band repertoire at the time and, of course, some are new songs.
Here''s the breakdown on the song samples: The title track "Destiny" has my old friend, Ben Lieberman, helping me out on backing vocals and playing acoustic guitar. The jam at the end of the song was recorded live in the studio. (I guess you''ll just have to buy the CD to hear it.)
"In Our Dreamscape" is a cool ballad with keyboard and guitar arpeggios. Nice vocals by Cheryl Kempler (my wife). Waking up in the middle of the night is what "Time Of Night" is all about. Doubled guitar and bass line over a ska beat. And, with "Passport To The Stars" check out the reference to John Lennon in the third verse.
