First Offence are a three piece blues/rock band; Jack Hammer - drums, Rob Hall - bass and vocals and Bumpy Rhoades - guitar. The Band was formed in 1984 and enjoyed numerous national radio plays including two half hour sessions on the famous Tommy Vance Friday Rock Show. They then signed an album deal with Metal Other Records, which saw the release of their first album, “The First Offence” on vinyl, closely followed by “The Hand That Rocks” produced by Nick Bowcott of Grim Reaper fame. They were part of what was then known as the "new wave of British Heavy Metal". Although probably not enjoying the success others of the same era achieved, they remained undaunted and have continued to tour ever since. 2009 sees them release “The Hand That Rocks”, which also includes tracks from their vinyl album “The First Offence”. In support of this album, the band will be touring extensively in the UK throughout 2009.
