The Knight Crew is an amalgamation of some of the best vocalists, musicians, songwriters and producers in the business. The group contains two extraordinary female lead and background vocalists, Sandy Simmons and Cristi Black. They boast stints with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones, Anita Baker and Natalie Cole, just to name a few. For the selection, "Michael¹s In A Jam," the group added some ''old school'' rap flavorings featuring of the dynamic sister duo of Monica and Contrelle Pinkney.
The men of The Knight Crew are equally impressive, with guitarist extraordinaire and vocalist Greg "G-Moe" Moore, whose extensive credits include Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, James Ingram, the Temptations, Take Six, George Duke, and the list goes on. In addition, the group comprises vocalist, keyboardist, programmer, arranger and producer Tony Coleman. Tony is a two-time Grammy Award winner for his million seller composition, "One Hundred Ways", as recorded by Quincy Jones (featuring James Ingram) and by renown jazz saxophonist David Sanborn. Tony also has experience with industry giants Elvis Presley, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, James Cleveland, The Winans, BeBe and CeCe, Denise Williams, The Emotions, The Miracles, K-Ci and JoJo and too many more to mention. Tony, along with songwriter, spoken word artist and producer R. Ray Barnes, make up the production team known in the industry as "The Knight Crew". Together they have produced such well known talents as The Pointer Sisters, Lakeside, Shalamar, Main Ingredient, Rita Coolidge, Lee Greenwood and many, many more.
