Details:
Evocative and impassioned, mischievous and sultry, German-born Scandinavian chanteuse, Nichole ALDEN is on a perpetual quest for her next musical exploration.

Her debut effort, Under the Skin (released 2001), a self-produced independent release, captured her enchanting lyrics and uniquely soulful voice while showcasing her exceptional songwriting abilities. Upon release of Under the Skin, ALDEN put together a 5-piece band that included a cellist and quickly made herself a fixture in Los Angeles’ highly competitive live music scene.

After a few years of extensive live presence, she headed back to the studio and custom wrote several tracks for both major and independent films including “What Died” licensed to Sony Pictures for its top-grossing horror film “The Fog” and “It’s a Party” used in its entirety as the opening credit song for Ariel Vromen’s independent film “Rx (Simple Lies).”

Always hungry for her next musical endeavor, ALDEN sought to stretch her songwriting talents by entering the vastly different world of dance music. In 2006, she collaborated with DJs Randy Boyer (EnMass) and Hydroid on several club singles including “Here Beside You” which gained immediate label interest.

Over the past few years ALDEN has gained international exposure through a series of television commercial licensing deals with AUDI, Peugeot, and Harley Davidson. These spots aired extensively throughout Europe, South America, Australia, South Africa, and Asia, causing Warner Music Taiwan to feature one of ALDEN’s tracks (“So Beautiful” listed as “Not Looking Back”) on their TV, Drama, and Movie HITS compilation CD.

ALDEN is back in the studio writing and recording more of her own original material she describes as “something between Nina Simone and Trent Reznor.”
