Details:
Nate "Boomer" was born Nathaniel Robison Jr. in Detroit. Living on the Northend, Not to far from "Hitsville" Nate says, "there seemed to be a singing group on every street corner". His late Sister Shirley, was a member of a singing group called "The Desirees". She also dated Melvin Franklin, late great bass singer for "The Temptations" when they were in high school (Nate "Boomer"s sweet and mellow "I Love You Babygirl" is inspired by Eddie Kendrick; the "tenors''s tenor" as "Boomer" calls him). Nate started going to Berry Gordy''s "Motown Revues"at Detroit''s Fox Theater which as "Boomer" recalls, ".... had about 200 acts on one bill! I remember going to one show, and until this day, the only thing I remember hearing was, "Get Ready", and "Goodnight"! Inspired by Motown and the love songs of the day, Nate started writing song lyrics in the late 70''s.

In 1983, seeing his life going nowhere, Nate gave his life to Christ; however, there were many years of frustration in store for Nate.

A year later, Nate "Boomer"started doing comedy. He went To "Bea''s Comedy Kitchen" in downtown Detroit, He started playing small clubs around town and "Open Mike" nights at the "Comedy Castle" in Berkely, Mi. He auditioned for a local television show called "Soulbeat" "I sang 2 songs,"A one In A Million You" and Smokey Robinson''s "I Like It Like That". A few years later, Boomer headed to New York where he did more "Open Mikes" and clubs in Greenwich Village. He auditioned for "ABC''s America''s Most Funniest People" at "Catch A Rising Star" comedy club. In the Spring of 1992, Nate auditoned for "Showtime At The Apollo" He received a call back, but canceled because his sister was killed in a car-jacking in Detroit. "I had just lost my mother a year earlier and my father 10 years before that, says Nate. My entire family was gone. It had a devastating afffect on me for years. Though the desire to perform had waned, my dream wouldn''t die".

Around the summer of 2001, Boomer started writing songs again. Two years later, with the inspiration of friend George "Circling Eagle" Tooks, [producer, keyboardist and background vocalist who had a close to a 2 million dollar seller with a hit single called "Who''s That Knocking" when he was with 50''s group, the "Genies" and is now singing with legendary Rock&Roll group "The Orioles", and has been in numerous movies: "Ghostbusters", "Fort Apache The Bronx" and "Still Of The Night"], these songs eventually gave birth to "Ultimate Love For You".

"Every song on this CD tells a complete story of losing love, finding love and being in love. I had been writing songs since the 70''s and with the strong urging of George, i decided the time was right for recording what i felt. I have written between 50 and 60 songs since 2001. I am currently working on songs for two upcoming CDs titled, "I Will Not Give In" which is also an auto-biographical gospel song, and tenatively titled "A Dream Away" another love ballad. With GOD all things are possible".
