Since the release of their debut self titled EP the progressive, modern sounding use of traditional instruments (banjo, mandolin, accordion, guitar, tin whistle and washboard) has been further expanded by the inclusion of a full drum kit and excellent double bass playing which has allowed their trade mark sound of punk influenced acoustic folk music to really fill out and explore new areas.
After two years they have built up a loyal fan base in London and East Anglia. They are now preparing to tour the UK and Europe to celebrate and promote their debut, full length album ‘GET INVOLVED’ to be released by Gratuitous Beaver/Code7/PHD on 7th April 2009.
Their live show is highly energetic and guaranteed to get any crowd going, regularly playing sell out shows to punk and folk audiences alike. Their songs cover a wide range of subject matters from political issues e.g. the immorality of the arms industry to more whimsical love longs and comedy tunes about their native Norfolk. The sound has been compared to bands such as the LEVELLERS, the POGUES and the CLASH but they draw influence from far and wide to bring a live experience which must be seen to be believed.
