He cut his heavy metal guitar playing teeth listening to classic metal/rock guitarists like Angus Young (AC/DC), Randy Rhoads (Ozzy), Ace Frehley (Kiss) and Adrian Smith & Dave Murray (Iron Maiden). In 1987 P.B. surrendered his heart to Jesus--and since that day all of his heavy metal rocking has been for THE ROCK! MUSICAL INFLUENCES: There were basically 5 guitar players who inspired me to play... and as a result had the biggest influence on my playing style--1) Angus Young (AC/DC), 2&3) Adrian Smith & Dave Murray (Iron Maiden), 4) Ace Frehley (KISS), 5) Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne)... these guys grabbed me and never let me go! After , those five, there were a ton of players that had an influence on my playing. For example-- Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), Glen Tipton and K.K. Downing (Judas Priest), Michael Sweet and Oz Fox (Stryper), Mathias Jabbs (Scorpians), Vivian Campbell (Dio), Yingwie Malmstean, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Rik Emmett (Triumph), Warren D. Martini (Ratt), Neil Schon (Journey), George Lynch (Dokken), Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne) and many others. As of late, I really love the playing of Phil Keagy & Ken Tamplin... and Steven Curtis Chapman does some really nice accoustic stuff!
FAMILY: I have an awesome family! My wife Kelly and I were married in Anderson, IN, on June 22, 1991. She is the love of my life. Toghether, Kelly and I have two fantabulous kids: Kara (born 8/3/97) and Josh (born 5/20/99) --they are wonderful bundles of energy, joy and creativity! I could go on and on about these great people... but you get the gist.

This is the story of how I grew up in a loving home... was taught to love Jesus... turned my back on God and dove head-first into the rock-n-roll/party scene... almost died several times... by the pure grace of God had my life totally revolutionized by Jesus... was diagnosed with and underwent surgery for the removal of a huge benigne brain tumor... perminately lost 75% of my vision in the surgery... was called by Jesus to preach the gospel... followed that call into ministry... and have now come to this place of using my gifts in music to encourage folks and exalt Jesus! Hi Pastor Brad! I''m (Mr.) Kelly Horn, a Christian rock, hard rock & heavy (melodic) metal music lover/CD collector. Just the other day I found your website from the https://www.tradebit.com website under album reviews. I heard some of the mp3 samples from ''Get Real'' & ''Rock you up''. I really like/love it! You''ve got everything I''m looking for! In recent weeks months & years, I''ve found some good music & lyrics by other bands. But there is always something missing. It''s either the music''s really great-hard "N" heavy-but the lyrics generally have just a "good" or "positive" message. Or the lyrics are bold, but there''s no guitar solos in the songs or the music''s a little too grungy or a little too rapcore-ish. I''ve been sayin'' to myself "When is there going to be a band/artist that has awesome/great old school 80s METAL music WITH LEAD GUITAR SOLOS & BOLD, BIBLICAL & SCRIPTURAL TYPE LYRICS?" When I heard your stuff online I thought THAT''s what I''ve been searching/looking for! I''m so glad I discovered you-wow! A Pastor that knows how to ROCK!"
