The Ra was raised in Sydney Australia to the beat of mainstream hip-hop. He has recently finished recording his EP with all his own material titled Syn City (Sydney City) which features a fiery urban mix of Soulful Hip-Hop, Club Bangers, Smooth R&B and Hip-Hop Anthems served up with a lyrical twist.
The Ra is influenced by mainstream Hip-Hop artists and producers such as Kanye West, Eminem, Timbaland and Dr Dre who are all focused and determined to create the future of Hip-Hop, and therefore his main focus is on innovativeness due to the diverse nature of the music industry. His ability to consistently create new music and new sounds is his unique selling point.
