Info about Rhiannon
Rhiannon is from Knoxville, Tennessee. She began to play guitar and write her own music in 2001 after suffering a neck and back injury in a head-on auto collision caused by hazardous road conditions. Though she has no visible injuries, she was no longer able to work as a cosmetology instructor so she turned to music as a way to pass the time, and after people heard her songs, they encouraged her to record them, so she did, and here they are.

Rhiannon tells the wonderfully romantic story of a soldier who goes to see a fortune teller during the war in Vietnam while he is recovering from an injury in a place called Vung Tau which was an R&R resort similar to China Beach. You''ll be enchanted as she tells of the conversation that takes place between them as she answers his questions about love through fortune telling methods such as palm and tea-leaf reading.

Rhiannon tells the story of the conversations she and her father had about a painting he
displayed on the living room wall of thier modest home when she was a young child of his favorite camping site in the Great Smokies-during these conversations, Rhiannon learned about the forced relocation of the Cherokee along the "Trail Of Tears" and of her own Native ancestory.
