Daydreams is a follow up to my debut CD, Footprints in Paradise. I''m especially proud of this project and was able to grab my older brother Greg from his busy life to help with some soulful clarinet on In The Moonlight.
A wise conductor once told me that most classical music has moments, moments that transcend what is written on the manuscript and take the performer and listener to a different place, if just briefly. I humbly write music that I enjoy and most likely does not blaze a new and unique trail in music. However, in everything I write, I try to engage the listener with strong melodies over interesting harmonies and add counter melodies to try and see if I can somehow create those “moments” in my work.
