Zach and Colton Swon are two brothers from Muskogee, Oklahoma. They have grown up playing music together and have developed into a unique duo whos live shows grips audiences of all ages. They began writing at young ages and haven''t stopped. They started playing coffee shops and festivals by themselves and eventually, through years of playing they expanded and formed The Swon Brothers Band which is now in high demand across the region. Colton Swon recently appeared on the 2008 season of American Idol. He waited in line for hours to eventually stand in front of producers multiple times and sing for just seconds. It didn''t take long for them to realize he had star quality. After the begining rounds he was advanced to Hollywood where he impressed the 3 dreaded judges. Over 100,000 people auditioned and Colton was in the top 50! Sadly he made a suprising exit when they told him he didn''t make the top 24 cut. It wasn''t a total loss in any aspect. Fans of his were shocked and still support him through and through. His fifteen minutes of fame on the show gained him a loyal fanbase that is irreplaceable. Older bother Zach Swon is known to be the musician of the two. Although both are equally talented on vocals and multiple instruments, Zach has been passionate about playing since a very young age. Growing up he watched great musicians of all styles and genres. He became entrigued and began playing by ear and has done so ever since. He and Colton also write as much as they perform. The duo recently completed their first Nashville produced cd. The songs and production are a cut above anything released before. They are taking the region by storm with singles already gaining radio play. A tour to promote the project is under way and 2009 is already looking to be a success for the duo. Though the two cover a wide range of writing styles, nothing compares to the chemistry these two have as a team. Their passion and determination are sure to bring this brother duo to the top. {}
