Christopher Gamper writes: "Time Capture" is the first release from my "San Francisco Bay Area Jazz Documentation Project". This project was meant to capture a live performance in a studio setting. I went into the studio with five different trios in the summer of 2006. "Time Capture" is a selection from three of the five trio sessions. Please enjoy my debut recording project. For me, this project was all about removing the stress from the recording environment and trying to capture some of the spontaneous magic that happens on the bandstand. I was lucky to get some of my favorite musicians/ fun people to join me and make some good honest jazz music in a relaxed setting.
