Pei-Jen Hung and Linda Bunting are the founders of World Boogie Productions, LLC. The duo met in 2005 in Wilmington Delaware. Very quickly they struck a friendship and discovered, as mothers and educators, their common belief that raising global citizens is our best chance at achieving world peace, and that knowledge about other cultures cultivates respect, understanding, and love. Language is a barrier that often keeps us focused on our differences. We strive to break down some of these obstacles through the universal language of music and the universal desire to ‘boogie’!!
Linda Bunting:
Linda brought to World Boogie Productions 15 years of experience teaching music to young children. She has a degree in music from the University of Delaware as well as an in depth understanding of how children learn through music. She captivates and achieves maximum participation in her classes and performances and has conducted numerous music programs and summer camps for schools in PA, NJ, DE, and MD. Linda has also written songs and curriculum for Makin’ Music, the children’s music program which currently holds the most awards in the nation! In addition to her successful career in children''s music, she has published 3 Adult CDs entitled, “Phoenix or Bust”, “Sacred Ground”and “I’m All In” (for more info visit https://www.tradebit.com). Linda currently lives in Kennett Square, PA with her 2 beautiful kids Angeline and Christopher.
Pei-Jen Hung:
World Boogie Productions is Pei-Jen''s brain child. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Pei-jen grew up speaking Mandarin Chinese in School, Taiwanese at home and Sign Language with her deaf grandma. From a very young age she has traveled extensively visiting over 19 countries. Throughout her travels, she has always been fascinated by people from different cultures and the languages they speak. She believes that only by celebrating diversity and eliminating prejudices there is hope to bring peace to the world. Pei-Jen began her career in business working for Mercedes Benz in Istanbul, Turkey. She has held sales and product management roles at IBM and Acer. Pei-Jen has a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from National Taiwan University. She lives with her husband and her two kids in Wilmington, Delaware.
