SUSAN FUNK
Born into a musical Florida family, singer/songwriter and Christian recording artist Susan Funk captivated her first audience at age two and a half, and won contests and scholarships for vocal performance. She''s made hundreds of concert appearances with her parents and brother Michael, until old enough to perform as a vocalist with show bands, small combos and full orchestras in the southeastern U.S.
Her music ministry began with two childhood friends when the girls formed a group called "Zaana" and ministered in churches and appeared on local and national Christian television programs. When the group disbanded, Susan followed her heart to Southern California, where she studied voice with reknowned vocal coaches, Seth Riggs and Roger Love.
Susan recorded her first album, "Just For You Lord" aired in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East via Christian Broadcasting. She also appeared on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) as a guest artist, and signed with Nissi Records in Hollywood.
The on-air radio personality, jingle artist and commercial actress has performed pop and Broadway music in popular Los Angeles and Orange County venues, and has sung the National Anthem at major sporting events for the Mighty Ducks, the Angels and at the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach, CA.
Susan wrote four songs on her Christmas CD, including the title song, "That''s Why We Have A Christmas."
