THEE UNDADAWGZ is KRAZYTONES and DEFIANCE two California born MC''s. Both were raised in and around Inglewood, CA., DEFIANCE was a graffiti Artist who associated but was never affiliated with the L.A. gangs. KRAZYTONES on the other hand was quickly sinking into a life of drug sales and crime through his affiliation with the local mexican gang Inglewood 13ce.
DEFIANCE left L.A. in 92, joining the Army, trying to get his life straight, where he began freestyling in the barracks.
KRAZYTONES was DJing local house parties for party crews and gangs in and around west side L.A.
KRAZYTONES got a hold of some music production equipment and started looping beats and sampling music, rapping over his own beats, recording gang retaliation songs passed on to other local and rival gangs.
DEFIANCE was still in the Army but would come to L.A. to visit frequently, on one of these visits him and KRAZYTONES met at a party after a big altercation occurred, they began to discuss illegal business ventures. Nothing really came of this discussion but a musical collaboration that began in 1996 at KRAZYTONES small studio in the back of a small house in Lawndale, where they recorded a few songs for a demo tape as the group DANGER ''US''.
KRAZYTONES soon moved to Dallas, TX. because of legal battles in L.A. and DEFIANCE finally moved back, where he tried to launch a Hip Hop magazine that fell apart a few months after inception. Meanwhile KRAZYTONES got deeper into the production, refining his talent, at times collaborating with other artists.
Finally in August of 2000 DEFIANCE moved to Dallas with KRAZYTONES, they upgraded the studio, got rid of some dead weight and began recording track by track at their apartment.
THEE UNDADAWGZ are a combination of mexican and american Hip Hop with a little bit of street life, a little bit of knowledge and a twist of french all coobed up in a southern kitchen with an L.A. frame of mind.
THEE UNDADAWGZ debut album (Estoz Amorez Perroz) presents a new genre of West Coast Hip Hop that will forever change the Hip Hop music industry as we know it.
