Moon Patrol, the most recent studio project by Track and Field’s Mike Kohler, is an all instrumental offering inspired heavily by 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s science fiction film music. We Come in Peace makes use of vintage synthesizers and arpeggiators, analog-generated sound effects and early drum machines as well as acoustic instruments.

Produced in Kohler''s own Goldenbug Recording studio using both modern computer and vintage tube and tape equipment, the music retains analog warmth while exploring digital creativity.
