Jonathan the artist was pronounced dead at 8 months old from aspirating stomach acid into his lungs. Ten physicians at the hospital had given up on his chances of recovery because Jonathan had been without air for more than 10 minutes. The Brain starts to perish at 3 minutes without air! So 10 doubting doctors one for each minute and 10 pages of organ donation papers had to be signed so by the loss of Jonathan's life 10 other children could have benefited from his organs and limbs. Well as the story goes Jonathan's Dad and Mother did not give into those 10 doctors and sign any of those 10 papers. To this very day Jonathan Cosme celebrates not one birthday but two birthdays July 22nd and November 8th, God gave Jonathan back to us in perfect normal condition with no brain damage or life threatening injuries.
