Regina the musical, explores, from a spiritual point of view, the life of Regina and ends with the October 2, 1968 student movement. The intention was to raise consciousness of the people to freedom, ecology, woman''s rights, education and the tolerance of different religions and lifestyles. It was to be the celebration of our uniqueness of diversity and the power to transform our reality with one single, unified intention. This movement was to take the Hispanic people in particular and the world in general, on a journey of rediscovery, reclaiming the very essence of our ancestral roots. It also inspires us all to create a higher level of consciousness and takes a bold step into the realms of awareness for the planet.

Regina was born on March 21, 1948 at the base of the Mexico City''s volcanoes, the"Village of the Kings”. Prior to her birth a notable Tibetan Lama referred to her as a "Dakini" a spiritual being with powerful and mystical abilities to control the forces of nature, which in turn would awaken the consciousness of the people to the unfolding of a new era.

In order to fulfill the prophecy of awakening the people, Regina would perform sacred rituals during the summer of 1968, in order to awaken the two extraordinary and sacred Mexican volcanoes; Popocatepetl representing the masculine energy and Iztaccíhuatl representing the feminine energy. She was assisted by the four Secret Guardians of the Tradition; representing Sapotec, Mayan, Olmec and Toltek traditions.

When Regina was only two years old, the Dalai Lama immediately recognizes her as a Dakini and welcomes Regina to Tibet to learn the necessary sacred and mystical practices and teachings in order to fulfill her destiny. Meanwhile, Tibet is experiencing great difficulties. The Chinese commence an invasion, and his Holiness the Dalai Lama is forced to escape from the sacred city. Many monks are prohibited to continue their religious and mystical practices, are imprisoned, tortured or killed. Regina’s parents were also killed and she escapes to a cave under the protection of the first Minister of Tibet, Tagdra Rimpoche, where she is mentored for six years. Regina is then captured by the Chinese and taken to a prison for women in order to be ''reformed'' according to the Communist principle. This seems to have been part of the plan, as Regina was told that she would learn to play the sacred instruments by a Chinese master to assist in Mexico''s awakening. After three years in prison, Regina is liberated and sent back to Mexico where she meets with the four Sacred Guardians of the Tradition. Together with these guardians, she performs the rituals to lead the country to its awakening and transformation, according to the instructions of Tagdra Rimpoche.

The first ritual is to ascend the pyramid of the Moon in Teotihuacan in order to activate its power and properly adjust the moon''s vibrations to eliminate the negative hypnotic effect on the people, much like a veil of secrecy. Upon the activation of the pyramid, she lead thousands through Mexico City to the Zocalo, the sacred center in Mexico City where the ancient and last Mexican empire was founded. After her arrival at the Zocalo, she sounded the bells to generate a special vibration, stirring people''s souls to the higher consciousness of empowerment. Thousands walk the sacred route form the Chapultepec sacred forest to the Zocalo, to awaken Mexico''s two main volcanoes, the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl or "Sleeping Woman". All of this was performed with great risk of the government''s intervention as the government was resolved to keep the people suppressed while forbidding the "awakening".

It is said that should the volcanoes remain dormant, a great sacrifice would be needed. The sacrifice included and involved the death of four hundred people, killed during the Tlatelolco massacre. Regina was amongst those slain on October 2, 1968. It is known to this day as "No olvide dos de Octubre" as a reminder of knowledge learned and the veil lifted for many whose consciousness was raised.
