Born and raised in Houston, TX I have always been into music and entertainment. One of my first memories is sitting in the middle of my mothers living room with my baby grand piano toy singing and playing imaging that I was Stevie Wonder himself! I was hooked right then I had fell in love with music. I later remember growing up loving Michael Jackson and performing his songs to whoever would stop and listen to me. I was also influenced by some of my fathers favorites like: Jimmy Hendrix, War, and Frankie Beverley and Mase and my mother classic soul and R&B music influences by artist like : Betty Wright, Antha Baker, Artha Franklin and Pattie La Bell. I knew at that very early age that I wanted to become a singer. Later I began writing musical songs. I wrote my first song at the age of only 8 years old. Writing gave me a way to express myself and later it became my best-friend. Winning me many awards in the future years to come. I just continued to get better and better at singing and songwriting. While growing up being a singer/songwriter was my only real dream. So it is no surprise that years later I continued to write and perform. Winning many local talent shows, writing for local artist, working as a model, and receiving performing arts achievement awards I worked hard throughout my school years. After graduating I took my skills all the way from Texas to New York after receiving a call from a major music management company( Violator Management). They were amazed at my skills, and offered to sign as me as a songwriter on there team. After returning home I decided that it was time to focus back on myself and my music. Which from that thought alone I''ve since started my own record label. With this record label my hope is to take my career and eventually others artist''s career''s to the next level. I started this record label in hopes to return the music industry back to the basics and run it the way I feel is best. I will continue to master my craft having since written over 200 songs till this day and also have been blessed to work with many locals in Houston like Manie Fresh, Philgood Productions, T. Rogers, J. Young, Ms. Thang, Vibe Records, 7303 Records and studio, and Sunrise Music just to name a few. Located in Houston, TX my goal now is to work on getting myself and my record company to the majors to finally be able to show the world my talents.
This is my first single I''m putting out as a independent record label/artist and I am very happy about it as well as mass amount of people that will finally get to enjoy my music... This songs is very relate-able everyone has either gone through this situation or know someone who is... It is a song that is truly enjoyable... Please give me a chance to share with you the music that i love and that you will soon love to hear... i promise that my music is not like anyone that is out now... it is very different and gives what i personally feel is missing in music now...Thanks ~ Cest
