Kitty and The Lost Boys: Rock Pop New Wave

Originally from London, UK, Devon band Kitty & The Lost Boys hit the South West music scene in 2006 and are carving out a much needed niche with their catchy tunes, savvy lyrics and polished musicianship.

Kitty - Face and Voice of the band. (Nickname "Legs")

PJ – Devonian backing vocalist Ex Punk singer hired for his face, weird sense of humour and his excellent bass playing skills.

Blind Johnny - All round guitar and song writing Legend who has played with and supported many of the greats back in the day!

Jess - One of those annoying temperamental musical genius types who can put his hand to just about any instrument. Up until recently he played drums for Kitty and The Lost Boys and runs band nights for other up and coming young musicians in West Devon. He also holds Drum and PA workshops for a local Youth Café and is studying live sound engineering at Plymouth. He is now playing flashy lead guitar for the band and doing the keyboards on some of the tracks.

Sam – Sam is our new drummer from Dartmoor. We don’t know a lot about him yet, except that he has a huge tattoo on his chest of a dragon and a spectacular tiger on his back!

Kitty & The Lost Boys have just completed their second album “NEVERLAND” and have been voted band of the week and mp3 of the week by Lemonrock Gig Guide (the biggest gig guide in the UK)

Kitty & The Lost Boys were recently picked to take part in the Red Strip Music Awards:

“Kitty and the Lost Boys took to the stage and kicked the show into another gear. Fronted by the gorgeous Kitty, the band looked great together and delivered a tight performance, wowing the crowd with some great lyrics and Blondie influenced vocals.”

Brief Band History

Kitty and Jess debuted on the music scene at the tender ages of 5 and 7. They have hazy memories of Friday Nights spent in a rock club hosted by Blind Johnny, in the basement of an Indian restaurant. They performed alongside a menagerie of characters that the underground club attracted and this, coupled with the laissez faire attitude of their bohemian parents, gave them a respectable Rock n Roll upbringing. Kitty had to stand on a chair to reach the microphone to begin with but that didn''t stop her. The years rolled on and the tribe travelled to foreign fields. At the age of 11 Jess was drumming in a 3 piece rock band fronted by professional musicians in Andalucia, Spain. Kitty spent this time growing and strumming her guitar at various open mic nights but mainly growing.

Many years and plenty of experience later Kitty not only fronts The Lost Boys but is a highly competent bass player and guitarist and also writes her own material. Jess in turn excels on drums, keyboards and guitar. On return to the UK, Kitty, Jess and Blind Johnny discovered a kindred spirit and band mate in Pete "The Face" Jenkins who plays bass and backup vocals. The entire outfit is underpinned by Blind Johnny, veteran guitarist and harp player from the 70''s, who writes the material and provides musical guidance. More recently Jess decided to move over to lead guitar and considering he has only been playing for two years he is awesome. We recently found Sam on Dartmoor and he agreed to be our drummer.

"You''d be hard pressed to find a more hardworking, friendly and supportive band than Kitty and The Lost Boys"

They don''t take themselves half as seriously as they do their music.
