From the streets of the southeast side of the Motor City emerges an insightful Writer and compelling Spoken Word Performance Artist. The Musical Spoken Word Art featured on her debut album, "I Can''t Shut Up!" fuses brass spoken word, melodic vocals and eclectic music. Lyrics are philosophical and timely. The music ranges from R&B inspired jazz to pop, each track tailored to the spoken word theme.

This Detroit native began receiving honors for her writing skills in grade school, and later developed her naturally gifted vocal ability at Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. Veronica has been honored with several distinctive awards recognizing her talent for video production, including a Telly Award for her Spoken Word Video, "I Can''t Shut Up!," the title track from her debut album. This track marries candid social commentary addressing the declining morals of America to a soothing jazz lament. The 12-piece compilation also offers a diverse mix of musical genres.

Following the release of her debut album, Veronica was honored with a Testimonial Resolution presented by the Detroit City Council saluting her lifelong commitment to excellence in the fine arts and dedication to reaching minds through artistic expression. Veronica has been a featured guest on local and national radio talk shows, including The Tom Pope Show, where her music has been featured. Veronica has performed at a myriad of venues including the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit, Michigan.
