Misa Malone and Tony Saunders, two great San Francisco Bay Area talents, have combined remarkable vocals and exceptional bass playing and as a result, have created a sound thus far unheard and unmatched in the world of today’s music.
Misa’s strong and sultry vocal tones and creative lyricism, along with Tony’s signature Bass virtuosity and inspired Production skills blend to make a fresh exciting funky R&B Neo-Soul Smooth Jazz flavor, which they call “Smooth Soul.” Their accompaniment consists of other stalwart veterans of the Bay Area Music scene who, along with their noted skill on their instruments of choice, offer their melodious harmonies to lift the music of Misa and Tony to higher heights of musical achievement.
Misa Malone’s freshman CD release “Shades of Blue,” has caused quite a stir on the international music scene, and her follow up project is greatly anticipated. Tony Saunders has released a gospel CD, “He Lifted Me Up,” which has received international acclaim, and is scheduled to release a smooth jazz CD, entitled “BLS” in the autumn of 2009. They are currently in the studio working on their new CD presently entitled Misa and Tony
