Misound aka Marco Iavarone is a Music Composer, Sound Designer and Sound Engineer born in Rome. The Italian peninsula is where the Artist crafted his Instrumental skills (Acoustic Guitar and Drums), which was taught by his father (a professional drummer) and also gave him the chance to experiment music playing with various underground Italian bands. In November 1999, the Artist moved to London looking for new challenges and the hope of improving his Musical skills. In UK, he met Miguel Marin aka Arbol, which introduced him to Electronic Music and exposed him to different styles of music that influenced the Artist''s future works. In 2004, starts the Artist collaboration with Marin and Emiliirecords, which lead the artist to get part on the release of Arbol''s "Dreams made of Paper" Album (2005). Finally in 2008, after years of experimentation with different genres of music from Minimal Techno to more Ambient and Electro-Acoustic projects, music production and live performances, Misound have is debut on Cd for Emiliirecords releasing a compilation including 2 of his tracks and featuring different artists like Arbol, Eri Makino, Deefried, Fernando Lagreca and Knal.
"Stanze di te" which translated in english means "rooms of you" was born one day in my little room on a black black day.
The pieces contains various recordings made in different environments: from my room in London to remotes field recordings which I made in Japan. I wanted to give a classical organic feel to it so i have combined a lots of acoustic elements like grand piano, violin and I got really obsessed with some beautiful voices. The songs were all mixed, processed and recorded ''live'' to give a more spontaneous approach, and so they are unique and cannot be re-created exactly in the same form. For me beauty in sound can be achieved simply with a gentle repetition of notes which layered together they create a uniform element which go hunting your emotions.
Id like to dedicate this sounds to Kaori, Anna, Vittorio, Barbara and Raffaella, they are the once in my heart.
Thanks also to Ryo that gave me this chance.
