Brent Stanton is a New York-based jazz flutist. Originally from New Zealand, he has played in New Zealand, Australia and in the US for the past 21 years. His earlier years were spent playing saxophone, clarinet and flute, and for the past 12 years, he has concentrated on the flute alone. He brings many years of life and musical experience and incorporates a classical flute training along with many sounds and styles, borrowed from saxophone and other instruments. His own original songs also display this varied music career.
