This latest album ‘Partisan’ is dedicated to the memory of ''The Partisans of Krushevo'' and as the song lyrics suggest,’ the Christian, the Muslim, The Communist, the Jew'', remembers all those who gave there lives fighting fascism in Bulgaria during WW2. The song tells the story of a collective of rural farmers betrayed by pro-nazi traitors and subsequently executed - The youngest of the 11 villagers whom were shot being just 15 years of age.
''The Best Picture'' is an satirical account of an argument between two band members ''classically trained violinist'' and ''self-taught guitarist.'' The later being the ''musical composer'' was said to have ''merely stretched the canvas'' whilst the violinist had ''painted the picture.'' Obviously Jonathan left the band in protest!
''L''Affaire Dominicie'' tells the true story of ''Sir Jack, Lady Anne and Elizabeth Drummond'' who were brutally murdered whilst camping in the South of France during 1952. Shot and beaten to death by the peasant farmer of 74 years,’ Gaston Dominicie'' who escaped the guillotine and eventually life in prison on ''compassionate grounds.''
