When I first moved to Nashville, I had just formed a band back home in Pennsylvania. It was hard to leave them, but I had just landed an Art teaching job in Tennessee. And of course you can''t turn down a steady job like that! Any way, long story short - when we got to Nashville, I tried like crazy to keep a band together. My band was called- Sharon Luanne and the Nashville New Agenda Band. We recorded this song in Hendersonville, Tn, and did it in concert. This song really got everybody clapping, and rapping along. It is kind of a mix between rap, funk and rock. I had two back up dancers and we did some pretty cool choreography to go along with this rap/song. I decided to release this as a single because it is quite different than my other songs. I mostly right contemporary Christian folk-rock stlye music. However, I think I am going to do more of this funk/rap music. I might go back into some of older rock songs and remix and sing them into more of a hip hop, reggae, funk style.
