She may only be 20 years old, but Sherry Lavelle is a very talented, driven singer/ songwriter with many performance credits to her name. Lavelle is very accomplished in violin, piano and vocals. Her style can be described as fun, fresh and classy hot AC with incredible musicianship and intelligent lyrics.
Lavelle''s music is in demand and has been getting great reviews from critics from the beginning. While she was only 18 and still in High School four of her songs were licensed the MTV network''s for use on many shows including "My Super Sweet Sixteen" and "Making the Band". In 2008 Lavelle signed a five song publishing deal with "Original Source Music" for film, television and commercial placement.
Lavelle relocated from her native Canada to San Diego, California where she has teamed up with award winning, songwriter producers Andy Machin and Margaret McClure. Together they have been working diligently in the studio co-writing and recording for over 2 years. In that time Lavelle has dedicated her life to her craft and performed at many venues throughout San Diego including several appearances on local cable TV. Through this hard work, Lavelle has developed a unique personal style as a singer/songwriter and grown incredibly as an artist.
Lavelle has just finished co-writing and recording her independent debut album ''Further From the Sun" set to be released in early 2009. It includes 11 irresistible new radio ready songs that Lavelle can be proud to call her own. The sky is the limit for Sherry Lavelle !
