Steve started playing classical piano at the age of nine. In high school, He started playing blues and jazz. After 2 years of musical training in college, He joined a band where he made a living for some 25 years, playing in casinos, hotels, nightclubs, and festivals all over the country. He is now happy to stay close to home where he plays fundraisers, parties, and restaurants. He also gives private piano lessons to students ranging in age from 5 to 82. His songs and style are inspired by artists like Billy Joel, Elton John, Stevie Winwood, and George Winston.
