During the month of January Night Of Sevens wrote, recorded and produced their debut single Wait For The Red Tape/Murder Kiss out now on RagtagRecords.
Night Of Sevens are a four piece based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, playing their first gig on 07/7/07 and are renowned throughout the city for staging special events and for their visceral live performances. The band describe themselves as an ‘autonomous garage rock ‘n’ roll movement upholding the age old fight between good and evil’ and place significant importance on poetic lyrical content. Notable supports the band have played include the current Detroit Social Club tour support, Twisted Wheel, Sons and Daughters, The Victorian English Gentlemen’s Club, Nine Black Alps and Exit Calm.
The next few months will see Night of Sevens continue to support the launch of their debut single with a round of exclusive live performances across the north of the UK, including being picked to play at the prestigious Evolution Festival. The band are one of a select few of the best acts chosen from across the region to represent the burgeoning local underground scene and will welcome the attention of the record label A&R droves who are set to descend on the festival eager to sign the next big thing.
Night Of Sevens are currently busy recording new songs for their forthcoming EP, whilst meticulously documenting and refining material for their closely guarded debut album in their purpose-built studio in the old Tyne Tees Television Studios, the renowned home of many pivotal moments in North Eastern music.
The band are currently touring cities throughout the norh of England.
