MakeMe is a band that got together in late 2006, as far as I can remember. It was reformed by bassist/vocalist Zola Goodrich and keyboardist/vocalist Claire Haynie with then Boyskout drummer Jesse Rivkin and noise-guitar novice Jeremy Sullivan. After a mid-set departure by Rivkin the band was joined by current double-bass pedal dynamo, Wes Chase. Their album, "It Only Hurts The First Time," was released in 2007. They''re new album, "House of Brakes," will be out momentarily. They sound like m83, smashing pumpkins, bloc party, sleater-kinney, bikini kill, the pixies, other bands that sound good. Listen to us.
