Khiry Tafari has been rapping for decades. Jamaican born and Edmonton raised… with a bit of Montreal for good measure… Khiry Tafari now makes Edmonton, Alberta his home base. His music is highly influenced not only by the rap genre, but by all genres.. notably reggae. You can hear this is his musical style as there are not only smooth flows and gritty style, but also beautiful melodies. He has opened up for the likes of Run DMC, Swollen Members, Kirby Dominant, the GZA and many more. He is the proud father of 2 8 year old children, Nitaljah and Keyon. They made their recording debut on the album ‘Movements of Luv’ with their track “Brother Sister”. Khiry’s debut release came with his former crew ‘Intricate Minds’ with the release of “Confiscated Thoughts EP” Now Khiry works with MC / Producer / Musician iD, Bobby Girth (producer), Curbside (producer) and DJ Budakron to form the rap group Locution Revolution.
Locution Revolution is taking Canada by storm with their raw and innovative hip hop sounds. The first release on the label made it to #10 on the charts… the next release will make it to the top. They have an unmatched stage show that you have to see to believe
