Since releasing her single God’s Eye Is On The Sparrow in 2008, Carol’s new CD ALL IS WELL promises to be as successful as her hit single! Musical selections include gospel standards as well as familiar classics with a New Thought, contemporary twist, such as: Prayer for Protection; Take My Hand, Precious Lord; The Lord’s Prayer, and Our Thoughts Are Prayers. The enhanced CD also features a CD-ROM video.
Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Carol had an interest in music as a young child, playing piano and the violin and singing in church and school choirs. After leading a traditional life as a wife, mother and state bureaucrat, that included a stint as a Governor’s appointee, Carol didn’t sing again for many years. Then came a health challenge that was actually a blessing – God had something new for Carol to do! Carol started singing again…..first in the church choir, which led to singing as a solo artist and then performing and studio recording.
“This journey has truly been a wonderful adventure” Carol says. “It is an honor to sing old gospel favorites with a new twist. I am deeply honored to be a vessel for God’s voice.”
Carol says she is blessed to have great and talented people on this project: Lead by the amazing Tony Jones II, this creative and talented musician and producer has also worked with such great gospel artists as Tonéx and Robin Hodges Williams and the R&B group B2K. Expert Peter de Leon, Chief Engineer of the project works his magic. He has engineered projects for many gospel artists including Walter Hawkins, Carl Wheeler and Kevin Bond. On background vocals is Huie Lovelady and the Unity Choir, a blend of wonderful gospel voices that bring inspiration to songs like The Lord’s Prayer and Our Thoughts Are Prayers. Jeff Tamelier (electric guitar), a former member of the Tower Of Power and Starship, “cuts up” on two of the songs. Carol’s testimonial and “how it was made” video is included on the album.
