Reserved is a very unique sounding rock band from garden grove, ca. they started in about 2000. Being a sophmore in highschool Russell Richards (vocal and guitars) had never sang he was mainly an intrumentalist. I played a lot with my cousins Chris and Eric Sorem and in the high school jazz band, I never thought to even have the guts to sing. He mentions thats where the name Reserved comes from. I had a friend Tawny who mentioned I should try and write a song and she is one of those real genuine people who when they would mention something you knew it was from the heart so I figured I''d give it a genuine shot. It was wierd it just sorta came easy all these ideas and lyrics started pouring out. I played it for her over the phone and she immediately told her friends and word spread through school pretty fast that I had written this cool song. Matt Gilbert a long time friend and drummer asked me to hear it and I played it. He knew right away that this was something worth persuing so we asked a friend John Rios if he''d like to play bass. Chris was ready to play some leads and we started writing songs together. The rest is history the album is called window it just took too long to get it here. Since then there have been changes in some of the original members so we owe much gratitude to Eric Nagle-bass, Cassandra Sheen-Bass, John Shandra-guitar n vocals, Chris Bright-drums all of which have played with us and will continue to be a part of our lives and music. And of course all the family, friends, and fans...we wouldn''t do this without you.
