And more recently, on Jesse McReynold''s "Pick Inn" Radio Show as ''Smokey Lonesome'' (..per ''Granny'' Joy McReynolds'' nicknaming!). Winner of the Jimmie Rodgers Memorial Contest, Meridian, Ms. Staff writer and roster artist for two Nashville record labels (in 70''s & 80''s), self-producing numerous CD''s (since) for release on assorted labels. Toured on ''Blues'' shows (Europe) solo & w/ the Late Tom Pomposello (90''s). Grew up in Cambridge, Ma. during ''Folk Music Boom'' (60''s), beginning his ''solo'' career there in Coffeehouses, etc., and all thru-out NE (and later w/ Trad.-Country unit)..
