If you know your heart is right, that is all you need to know about yourself. I have learned to trust this relationship a great deal while working on this album. From my little niche, I wanted to do what I could to make this world better by singing, writing, and playing.
Why? Within our fast-paced new generation, we are constantly progressing and losing our simplicity in lieu of a jumbled series of problems. I wanted to create a sense of simplicity, but still project the vulnerabilities we all face as humans.
From a look at dealing with death, to the celebration of life’s happiness, I wrote to give myself a soul I could reference. From having to say goodbye to old friends, lovers, and even lifestyles, I wrote to give myself a soul I could be proud of.
It seems as though we all strive to see the beauty of our own lives, yet question whether it exists only in others. You are a bystander to the connection between the crossroad of music I wandered down, and the life-steps we all eventually set out to take. This being said, I can only offer you the knowledge that my music comes raw from inside; I genuinely extend my heart for you to listen.
