On a hot summer night in August of 2008, I decided to record a few of my favorite songs along with some scribbled ideas for songs I had gathered over the previous year–this CD is the result.
I played guitar intensely as a teenager in the blues/rock scene in London, England, even played a gig at the famed Marquee Club. After returning to the US, I gigged with various cover bands, wrote lots of forgettable music, spent time learning bass, drums, and piano--as well as honing my guitar skills--and raised a family.
Three years ago, I returned to music full time, touring with the Alimony Blues Band. I now playing bass and lead guitar with the classic power-rock band IX Lives. I run a small recording studio where I produced my first release in March of 2008, a blues-classical crossover EP which received good reviews including a favorable review in Vintage Guitar Magazine.
Dani Daly is an outstanding female vocalist from West Bend, Wisconsin. Dani has performed with Oil Can Harry who was voted best Wisconsin band of 2008 by Milwaukee''s Shepherd Express.
