Hello Everyone,
My name is Holly and I have been in Chicago all my life and also I have been in the music scene for just as long. I have heard all types of music in the R&B genre and I like all styles of music but it is something about Houston that is unexplainable. His music and lyrics talks to you personally wherever you are and this I feel is how hits are made. I feel that if you can talk to your fan base on a personal level through your music then that is when you are on your way up.
One day while I was in the record store I came across Houston doing some promotion of his CD. I liked what I heard and I bought it right on the spot. After listening to Houston''s CD I can give you a perspective based on my opinions.
I feel that Houston''s soulful ballads relate from the heart. They are songs that express what most people want to say but can''t. His songs deal with every human emotion from abandonment, hurt, love, pain, and regret to relations such as broken hearts, couples, and lovers. Also it deals with the good times, the partying and the fun. His CD can be summed up as bringing you from one spectrum of emotions to another and finally planting you down on solid ground.
His music style says it all, it tells the truth without pretense. It is soulful R&B with old school and new school, hip hop and contemporary all blended together, and I have been fortunate enough to hear some of Houston''s songs that you have not heard yet...and...https://www.tradebit.com...good.
