The training for Beverly would begin at age six. Her parents were the beginning influence as with so many accomplished musicians. She began with classical music on the piano and the violin. In High School she was recognized as a very good violinist, competing at the State level competition. Beverly was also her Church pianist in High School. It was in Church where her special style on the piano would develop. Beverly’s ability to read music has enabled her to bring back life to many of the great songs that have been written. You’ll hear several on this CD.
Beverly’s father would call it a special touch, other people a great gift, and some even a miracle, when they are literally healed both physically or emotionally while in the presence of her music. Some listeners say there is a power in the airwaves as the music comes forth. When it does, Beverly will tell you that it comes from Jesus. She says it is the anointing.
The songs on the CD you are considering were recorded in a live setting, and there are some unavoidable variations in volume and stage noise. The spontaneous nature of the many medleys and tremendous atmosphere have been retained to provide you with a very unique 63 minutes of music listening.
