Teaza formed in January 2006. Brought together by a mutual love of music, the five piece pop/rock outfit from Melbourne soon had a strong set of songs and started performing in and around Melbourne, Australia.
In Mid 2007 drummer Evan Lodge parted ways with the band, leaving a position open for the right timekeeper. Enter Lucas Reay, newly single from his own outfit and eager to get down to business and back on stage, he added a fresh new flavour to Teaza.
This explosive new chemistry between band members resulted in an abundance of quality material with broad appeal.
With recent shows at the Hi Fi Bar, The Espy and The Evelyn this Melbourne pop / rock outfit are fast becoming a driving force in the Melbourne music scene for their high energy electric rock shows.
Teaza now have their feet firmly on the ground with debut EP finished and the first single “Runaway” ready for rotation on the airwaves. Teaza are in their prime and ready to rock n roll..
